What is the Baseline Document

The baseline document is authenticated piece of information setting the base for pre-development and other starting procedures. A system's functionality is not affected by Baseline testing. Instead, it is a formal document used to make references during future comprisons.

Approved and review documents are also referred to as baseline documents.
