What kind of performance testing would you use to prepare for a website launch?

There are a number of different performance testing techniques that can be used to prepare for a website launch. One technique is database-based performance testing, which involves creating test data and scenarios to exercise the database's functionality. Another technique is website-based performance testing, which involves loading the entire website with traffic so that it can be observed in action. Finally, login-based performance testing can also be used to measure how well the system handles login requests and whether there are any bottlenecks caused by this process.
