LF BLOG // Three New Test Examples

It's been a busy week at LoadForge. We've released Notifications, Shareable Reports, and launching tests on our own cloud. Not wanting to sleep, we also added three new locustfile guides we'd like to highlight.

  1. Setting a Random User Agent is a great example of using random preset items. This changes your test users user agent, but it could be used for many things.
  2. Logging in using Basic Authentication simple, but critical for sites using Basic Auth. It's also a great example of using the python requests module.
  3. Posting JSON Data is an excellent example on how to submit raw JSON data in a POST request for your load test.

These guys have been generated after requests from our community on live chat. Remember to ask us whenever you are stuck, or to submit guides if you solve a unique problem!
